The Johannes van de Pol Student Exchange Fund provides grants to Leiden Law students (bachelor’s or master’s level) who wish to study in the United States for a semester. Grant awards of up to $5,000 are intended for students who need financial support so they may pursue their dream of studying in the United States.

Eligibility criteria:
- You are a student at Leiden University (both bachelor and master students can apply).
- You are studying at the Faculty of Law.
- Your application is for a semester of study in the United States.
The Netherland-America Foundation evaluates applications based on, among other factors, the financial need of the student, motivation, and academic results. Part of the selection process includes a virtual interview with a small selection committee.
