Washington DC Chapter

The NAF Washington, D.C. is a platform for a wide range of Dutch-American business, cultural and charitable activities in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. The chapter collaborates closely with the Netherlands Embassy to the United States, the Congressional Caucus on the Netherlands, DC Dutch, and the Dutch-American business community

Our activities in furtherance of the NAF’s mission include:

  • Social and cultural activities, ranging from happy hours to concerts and lectures, often with preferential access and pricing for NAF members.
  • The annual Ambassadors’ Awards Dinner, honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to strengthening the bonds of commerce, culture and education between the United States and The Netherlands. A portion of the Ambassadors’ Awards Dinner’s proceeds supports scholarships and internships in DC for Dutch students through The Fund for American Studies.
  • Gatherings of professional interest to our members that offer a unique platform for Dutch-American networking in the nation’s capital.

Please contact Stan Veuger at stan.veuger@gmail.com if you are interested in getting involved with our DC community.
