NAF Alumni are a group of 1,200+ people who have done an internship or studied in the Netherlands or US over the past 35 years through a NAF-Fulbright award, study loan, or internship grant. They are a vibrant network of people who have studied, worked, or conducted research across the Atlantic, moving between the Netherlands and the United States.
Our goal is to keep the NAF spirit alive beyond the program itself — helping alumni connect across generations, share experiences, and give back to future students and professionals. Whether you took part decades ago or just returned from your exchange, you are part of the same story.
The NAF Alumni Committee recognizes this in yearly programming, from welcome picnics to a Halloween borrel to the annual NAF Connections in Amsterdam and New York City. The NAF network can better expand its reach by connecting this group of scholars and professionals with a shared value of Dutch-American exchange.
We’re also building a mentorship program that connects newer alumni and current students with experienced professionals in the NAF network — creating lasting, cross-generational ties.
